Identity Theft Prevention
Prevent identity theft before it happens
Identity theft refers to the fraud of impersonating another individual for personal gain generally financial. The theft often occurs when items containing personal information such as a wallet or mail are lost or stolen.
Identity theft for the victim can be considerably traumatising and then time consuming and costly to rectify. It often takes many years until the full extent of the fraud has been realised and resolved.
FCS OnLine can assist in the prevention of identity theft by verifying details which are typically referred to as “out-of-wallet”. The way in which we can provide this increased level of verification is by asking for and confirming additional details such as:
- Previous address – in excess of 100million historical records
- Referee information
- Medicare and passport details
